I am Lara, fine art photographer and graphic designer
Horses have always been my passion and with photography I have finally found a way to make this love visible. My photos combine a keen sense for horses with a lot of creativity and have already been honoured with awards for this.
My life is all about creating a work of art from horses that does justice to their souls.
I have been self-employed as a photographer and graphic designer since 2024. I live with my partner and our two cats in Düdingen, where I also grew up. My favourite horse is a young Franches-Montagnes gelding called Cantico.
I could talk about this for hours:
I like iced coffee, concerts and indie music, interestingly designed cookbooks, brunch, tattoos, houseplants, typography, art history, northern countries, the mountains, ponies, bitless riding and free work, cats, analogue cameras, thunderstorms and fog on an autumn morning...

I am over the moon that my photo "Dancing in the Dust", which shows the wonderful Haflinger gelding "Mikado", has won an award.
