In December, Scarlett asked me to capture the last memories of Jerry - a gentle giant with the kindest eyes. The shoot was completely spontaneous. The conditions were not important at that moment, because at that moment only one thing mattered: to capture these precious last moments. And as if nature itself had honoured this moment, we were gifted with an almost magical, mystical atmosphere that morning. A soft frost lay over the fields, the air was still and it felt as if the world stopped for a moment.
For rainbow shoots I find always an appointment for you. It's at times like these that professional pictures are so valuable - not only because of the result, but also because of the feeling you have during the shoot. It is particularly important to me that you feel comfortable and that you end up with exactly the pictures you want.

We spent our time together in a frozen field next to the stable and in the riding arena. Everything was calm and relaxed so that the most beautiful moments between Scarlett and Jerry could come naturally. It was one of those special encounters that are more than just a photo shoot. 
Saying goodbye is never easy, and yet I am grateful that we were able to create these memories. The resulting photo book is perhaps the most beautiful thing I have ever created - a precious keepsake that will stay with Scarlett forever.
