A photo shoot in summer

Shooting in summer sounds exhausting at first. It's hot, there are often lots of insects and you immediately think of sweating. But not if you combine the photo shoot with a trip into the cool. My favourite summer photo shoot locations are lakes or rivers.

If your horse likes water, you should definitely book a water shoot with me this summer. Because water is the best place for me to take natural and lively photos. Your horse and you can simply have fun and enjoy the time together, without any pressure. I am a silent observer and only have to take photos at the right moment.

If you don't like posed photos and prefer genuine, informal moments, a water shoot is just the thing for you.

It was the same with Josy and her gelding Coratel.

We met early in the morning at a small pond. We were joined by Janina and Yvana, whose photos I will show you in a separate post. The light mist on the water and the many glittering water droplets made it really easy for me to create little works of art from these moments.
