Why it's about more than just pretty pictures

For a long time, I thought that I could only be successful as a photographer if my photos were technically perfect. With a spectacular subject, a special-looking horse and a unique setting. But in recent years, and especially after talking to my wonderful clients, I have realised that a photo shoot is about much more.

I have found out why people feel so comfortable with me, even though (or perhaps because) I am a very quiet and introverted person.

A photo shoot without rigid guidelines

When we meet for a shoot, I don't go in with a fixed list of subjects or a strict schedule. Instead, I focus entirely on you and your horse. I pick you up where you need me.

For some, this means that I say very little during the shoot - maybe give a little guidance, but then just let you enjoy the time together with your horse. For others, it means that I give you ideas so that you don't feel lost in front of the camera. Both are allowed and both are good.

A space for trust and connection

I create a space in which you can trust that what is created will be good.

A space in which you feel comfortable, in which you can develop.

A space full of peace, goodwill and connection.

And when this is the case, there is no other way than for the photos to be fantastic.

When this is the case, magic happens.

If you would like a photo shoot that focuses on peace, trust and genuine moments, I look forward to getting to know you and your horse.
