Sometimes everything just falls into place perfectly and the only thing I have to do is capture the moment. That's exactly what happened that evening in the Camargue. It was the last evening of the photo tour and I was already overjoyed because the weather was much better than expected and I immediately fell in love with the young Camargue mares that were brought in for the shoot.

At the end of the shoot, the horses were allowed to roll around in the sand while we took the final portraits. At that moment, flamingos and other birds suddenly flew over the scene - and that's how this photo was taken.

When I look at it, I feel transported back to that moment and remember that my dream of photographing Camargue horses became a reality. This picture is a reminder to never stop following your dreams - they really can come true.
